From August 19 to 21, 2025, India Ferrous Week 2025 was held in Kolkata. The conference is designed to serve as a comprehensive platform for industry stakeholders to stay abreast of the latest developments, identify emerging opportunities, and address pressing challenges within India’s iron ore, pellet, and allied sectors.

      SLon, a leading brand in intelligent and green mining equipment, showcased a number of key achievements at the conference. Among them, its newly designed SLon-8000 Vertical Ring Pulsating High Gradient Magnetic Separator(VPHGMS), the world’s first, garnered significant industry attention. With a rotating ring diameter of 8000mm and a processing capacity of up to 2500 t/h, the SLon-8000 VPHGMS boasts a 4.5-fold increase over the SLon-4000 type. Its energy consumption per ton is only 0.12 kWh/ton, saving 70% compared to traditional equipment. This “giant” system excels in both metal enrichment and non-metallic iron removal. Additionally, the newly developed CTB-1850 Wet Drum Magnetic Separator(LIMS) and WCT internally cooled Permanent Magnetic Separator also garnered significant attention with their unique designs. At the exhibition, SLon’s new technologies and equipment attracted the attention of numerous industry practitioners and experts.
