Product Description:

SLon has finished the design of the largest SLon-5000 VPHGMS(WHIMS), whose single unit capacity can reach up to 950t/h. In the past 30 years, SLon has focused on the innovation and promotion of mineral processing techonology, and completed the design, manufacture and utilization of over 70 models of VPHGMS.
It’s suitable for mining process for weak magnetic minerals, such as oxidized iron ore, titanic iron ore, hematite, limonite, siderite, ilmenite, chromite, manganese ore, wolframite, tantalum-niobium ores and etc.; deironing for non-metallic minerals, such as feldspar, quartz sand, kaolin, nepheline, fluorite.sillimanite, spodumene, barytes, andalusite, talc, zircon, bentonite, magnesite and etc.; recycle of secondary resource, such as red mud, smelting slags, gas ash, fly ash, slag and etc..

  • Low voltage, high current and low current density.Internal water cooling and double circulation cooling mode stable magnetic field. Equipment operation rate is up to 98%;
  • Optimized magnetic system design, optimal arrangement and combination of magnetic matrix, background field intensity up to 1.8T. vertical rotation, reverse flushing achieve magnetic matrix is not easy to block;
  • Pulsation mechanism design could improve the separation efficiency;
  • Wide separation range: upper limit:6mm, lower limit :2~10μm;
  • 17 series of products with more than 70 specifications and models, and capacity of a single unit is from 0.01 to 480t/h;
  • Equipped with coil pipeline cleaning system, easy for coil daily maintenance. coil designed life is up to 10 years.

How does it work?

Slurry is introduced through slots in the upper yoke to the matrix, which is housed inside the vertical ring. The magnetic particles are attracted to the matrix and then carried outside of the magnetic field where they are subsequently flushed to the magnetic concentrate trough. The non-mags pass through the matrix to the non-mags collection hoppers.
